Imagine if you wanted to see some of the hottest local companies and had both limited time and budget. You could do it by attending a venture fair or a business plan competition. IPI was on the planning committee leading either the judging, or coaching committees of the annual New Jersey Venture Fair for about ten years. Entrepreneurs learn a lot by doing, and when our friends in the Russian Venture Capital Association asked what they could do to stimulate the venture capital industry in Russia, the answer was easy. IPI’s participation with the RVCA in the management of the Russian Venture Fair extended more than five years through the infancy of the event. The Russian Venture Fair is now in its eleventh year, and still helping Russian entrepreneurs raise capital and gain exposure with Russian as well as Western investors, advisors and other entrepreneurs.
