John Dmohowski is a serial entrepreneur, investor and active promoter of entrepreneurial ecosystems. He has been a founder or early stage executive on a dozen technology startups, advisor to dozens of early stage companies and mentor to hundreds of founders and team leaders. John has over 35 years of experience in technology based firms and two decades of startup experience. His startup experience includes an internet business incubator, GPS consulting services, online retail apparel business, digital mapping service, telecommunication business and digital marketing services. These companies raised $40M+ in financing and participated in several exits. He is an active coach, mentor, and judge in local, national, and international startup competitions. He has worked with a variety of startup incubators and accelerators and has served as a Board Member of the Los Angeles Venture Association and Long Beach Green Business Council. Recently, John worked directly with 30+ portfolio companies at PortTech, a business innovation center funded by the city of Los Angeles.
Mr. Dmohowski earned BS Biology, BA Psychology and Master of Maritime Policy from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
