IPI got into the incubator industry to address a need for small business development in Southeast San Diego, an area poorly served by the local banks, lacking in business services, and limited options for employment. We partnered with a local California Assembly member, one of San Diego’s economic development corporations, the local community college and several businesses to form the San Diego Incubator Corporation.
